There are several simple steps you can take ahead of your scheduled service: •Clear access to the work area. Remove vehicles, patio furniture, lawn décor, and any other items near the tree or work zone to allow safe equipment access and movement. •Keep pets and children indoors. Tree work involves heavy equipment, falling debris, and controlled cutting zones—keeping pets and kids safely inside is essential. •Mark underground utilities or landscaping features. If you are aware of irrigation lines, septic systems, or delicate landscaping near the tree, letting our team know ahead of time helps prevent damage. •Plan for noise and activity. Chainsaws, chippers, and skid steer equipment are part of the process, so it’s helpful to plan around the work, especially for meetings or calls. •Discuss debris preferences in advance. Let us know if you’d like wood chips left on site for mulch or if all debris should be hauled away.  It’s also important to note that tree removal, maintenance, and trimming are often easier and more efficient when there are no leaves on the trees. Leaf‑off conditions create less material to handle, improve visibility of the tree’s structure, and allow for more precise cutting—especially during removals and high‑risk work. How far in advance should I schedule a service?

Accepted Answer

Scheduling needs can vary depending on the season and the type of work required. In general, booking one to two weeks in advance is usually sufficient. However, demand increases significantly during peak seasons. In spring, we recommend scheduling up to two months ahead to secure your preferred timeframe. As the year progresses into late summer and early fall, earlier booking is also encouraged due to increased service requests.  We do understand that some situations can’t wait. Emergency services are available for urgent conditions such as storm‑damaged or fallen trees, trees threatening homes or power lines, blocked driveways or access points, and other immediate safety hazards. If you’re dealing with an unexpected or dangerous situation, contact us right away so we can assess and respond as quickly as possible.

Can you remove trees near homes, buildings, or power lines?

Yes. We are experienced in controlled tree removals in confined areas near structures, fences, and utility lines. Using rope access, sectioned removal, and specialized rigging techniques, we are able to safely dismantle trees piece by piece while minimizing risk to surrounding property.

Will you remove the stump after cutting down a tree?

Yes, stump removal is available as an additional service at an extra cost. Our team offers professional stump grinding to ensure your landscape is clean and safe following tree removal.  Is stump grinding necessary after a tree is removed? While not required, stump grinding is strongly recommended. Leaving stumps behind can create tripping hazards, attract pests, interfere with mowing or landscaping, and allow regrowth. Grinding removes the stump below ground level, leaving the area safer and easier to use.  What is industrial grinding, and when is it needed? Industrial grinding is a heavy‑duty service used for large stumps, root systems, or land‑clearing projects that go beyond standard residential grinding. This service is ideal for commercial, industrial, or development sites where extensive material reduction is required.

Do you provide seasonal services beyond tree work?
